Camp Halibut Ambassadors
My wife Jo and I are proud to be ambassadors for Camp Halibut in Soroya Norway, helping to arrange the sea fishing holiday of a lifetime for you in a place where monster fish can be found at the end of the world. Free from pollution and over fishing the seas are teaming with life supplying halibut, cod and many other species to such a quality that you’ll struggle to believe it’s real; the lack of humanity and the last embers of the gulfstream combine to provide and angler’s paradise.
Hopefully by now you want to know how you get there and the good news its it’s easy. There are daily flights to and from Heathrow landing in Hasvik Norway taking less than 8 hours including transfers and the price is very reasonable. You can spend as much time travelling to and from a UK fishing port a day trip! The cost of the fishing when you arrive is also very reasonable and there is no additional cost for us helping you book your Camp Halibut holiday.🎣 Enquire about Bookings
The trip is on a self-catering basis with the rooms basic but clean although you’ll not want to spend much time in bed! The kitchen and lounge are communal allowing you to share stories with your fellow anglers. Boats can be hired for you own use or a guide is available to take you to the prime spots. Rods, reels and survival suits can be hired and terminal tackle purchased. Catching supper is easy and a shop is only 10 minutes away. Whatever you need can be arranged with a full bespoke service.

100lb Monster Fish
Let’s start with cod and they grow to world record proportions! Monsters to over 100lbs have been tempted in Soroya’s rich seas. Yes, you did read that correctly – 100lbs - even when these monsters have spawned a 50lb plus specimen is possible all summer long. Hectic sport can also be enjoyed meaning your arms will be aching.
World record plaice and wolffish could see you in the history books alongside copious amounts of coalfish, red fish and ling. The true monster however is the halibut growing to proportions we can only guess at; a fearsome predator that hunts across the reefs and tests anglers to their limits.
